Why we started
Awn Collective
Awn Collective began with a simple conviction: those who give their lives to teaching and preserving the dīn — ulama, students of knowledge, and Islamic school staff — deserve to be honored by the community they serve. Our name comes from ʿawn (عون), mutual help, in the spirit of the hadith, "Allah is in the assistance ('awn) of His servant as long as the servant is in the service of his brother" (Muslim).
We built a closed, verified membership community and invited a growing network of vetted partners to join us — not as advertisers, but as businesses that count it a privilege to honor people who serve knowledge.
